~ Never finish any part of a garment at the widest point of your body. For example, avoid jackets that finish at the widest point of your hips, short tops if you have a large waist.
~ Don't buy anything unless it goes with four other things in your wardrobe.
~ A bargain is not how much it costs - it's how easily it works for you, how many things it mixes and matches with, and how often you wear it!
~ Buy less, wear it more. When you work out the price per wear on a well worn and loved garment, it will be cheaper in the long run than any of your sales acquisitions.
