The SPRING FASHION SWAP event

 

 

Spring is the perfect time to swap winter, spring and even summer clothes.

 

We all love to shop! We all have things in our wardrobe that we really don’t need!!

 Look through your closet and bring all these great clothes that you are a bit tired of

but you know other women might love. Plus, get style tips from your hostess, Silfath.

 

Renew your closet and enjoy a fun girl’s night of cocktails, great clothes and amazing deals on

 

 Thursday, April 16th, 2009 - From 6 pm to 9:30 pm

Your girlfriends!! This is a fun girlie night out!

Clothing, bags, belts, shoes or other accessories. No more than 10 items per person.

The amazing dress you wore to your best friend’s wedding that you can’t possibly be seen in again!

That pair of shoes that you bought too small and have never quite managed to squeeze your tootsies into.

The jacket that your mum bought you that isn’t quite your style but is WAY too good to be given away.

The jeans you bought on sale over one year ago that you promised yourself you would get into before summer

The things you’ve been meaning to sell on eBay but simply haven’t had the time or motivation.

 How does it work? 

  1. Check in your clothes and accessories you no longer wear (up to 10) at the check in desk, between 6.00pm and 7.00pm.
  2. You will receive a token for each item you check in.
  3. Enjoy finger food and drinks whilst catching up with friends.
  4. The swap event will start at 7.00pm. Browse through the racks and find some ‘new to you’ items.
  5. Once you have selected your items, please proceed to the check out and make your token purchase.


The Token System

To ensure everyone has a fabulous time, a colored coded token system will be used on the night. The token system will allow you to swap fashion items for near or equal value to what you have brought to the Fashion Swap event.

 

 

The tokens issued on the night include:

 

Cheap = Yellow Token
Mid-price = Green Token
Expensive = Red Token (more than $200)

1 red token = 2 green

1 green token = 2 yellow
FASHION SWAP RULES 
  • No more than 10 items
  • Be sure that you wash and press all your items.
  • Items can be unworn or gently worn.
  • Have them in a condition that you would like other people's clothes to be.
  • Please try to be on time. The Fashion Swap will start at 7pm.
  • If you wouldn’t lend it to a friend, please do not bring it to the Fashion Swap.
  • Very important: it is your obligation to find an item or items that you want to take home with you. We do not guarantee you will take home any item with you or any item that is of equal value to an item you brought in to swap.
